Silver Wattle

Acacia dealbata

The Silver Wattle can vary in form from a small shrub to a dominant tree. It grows widely in Tasmania but is not found on badly drained soil or at the top of mountains. The leaves are blue-green (compare with the dark green of the Black Wattle). There is one oil gland between each leaflet pair along the main leaf stem (compare with two oil glands on the Black Wattle).
