Acacia mearnsii (A. mollissima)
The Black Wattle is a shrub or small tree found on fertile, dry soils. The leaves are dark green (compare with the blue-green of the Silver Wattle). There are two oil glands between each pair of leaflets along the main leaf stem (compare with one oil gland for the Silver Wattle).
